Systems Modeling BP$im Integration
BPwin 2.5 exchanges data with the Systems Modeling BP$im simulation engine via the use of an intermediary Microsoft Excel 5.0 spreadsheet (via ODBC). Data is extracted from the model activities and extended via the use of User Defined Properties to give, at the touch of a button, a fully executable simulation model.
 
Dictionary Import/Export
This can be achieved via tab-delimited files with an Easy ABC header (a simple text header message).
 
Easy ABC Export
Models can be exchanged with ABC technologies (Easy ABC via tab-delimited files).
 
Integration with Microsoft Word
Previous versions of BPwin supported exchange with Microsoft Word. Due to internal product changes these links are no longer supported; however, they are shipped on the media with usage notes if required.
 
BPwin API
There are currently no documented APIs available for accessing BPwin.

IDL File Format Support
The IDL file format is the standard format for batch electronic exchange of information in IDEF0 models.
